LED backlit, framed and full-length mirrors from KES 4,500. The mirror is the last thing you check before leaving the house, its size, shape and light temperature decide whether it actually does its job.

Why It Matters
A bathroom mirror works harder than almost any other fixture in the home, you use it daily, at close range, usually while deciding how you look before you leave the house. Get the light quality wrong and every other detail in the bathroom stops mattering.
Two decisions carry the most weight: size and shape relative to your vanity and basin, and light quality, whether you need integrated LED or a mirror alone with separate vanity lighting. Everything else, frame finish, mount style, is preference.
Sizing & Placement
Four checks cover almost every vanity in a Kenyan bathroom, standard or custom.
Rule of Thumb
Vanity width − 10cm
Step 01
Measure the vanity
Take the width of the counter or basin the mirror sits above, not the whole wall.
Step 02
Leave a margin
Keep the mirror 5–10 cm narrower than the vanity top on each side for a proportioned look.
Step 03
Set the mount height
Center the mirror around 150–160 cm from the floor, roughly eye level for most adults.
Step 04
Plan the wiring
LED backlit mirrors need a switched live behind the wall, confirm this before installation, not after.

Simple framed mirrors are the most affordable entry point. LED backlit and tricolor mirrors cost more because of the driver and touch controls, but often remove the need for separate vanity lighting. All prices include VAT.
Installation of an LED mirror requires a switched live behind the wall, our team can confirm wiring requirements before you order.
Common Questions
Keep the mirror 5–10 cm narrower than the vanity top on each side, or size it to the width of a single basin when a double-vanity gets two mirrors instead of one wide one. Center it above the basin you actually stand at, not the middle of the whole counter.
A backlit or edge-lit mirror has an integrated LED ring or panel behind the glass that gives shadow-free light for grooming, more even than a single overhead downlight. Most models sold in Kenya use a tricolor driver with a touch sensor on the glass, so you switch between warm, neutral and cool white without a separate vanity light. It costs more than a plain mirror but often replaces the need for wall sconces entirely.
Round and oval mirrors soften a bathroom that is otherwise all straight counter and cabinet lines, and suit a single basin well. Rectangular mirrors follow the horizontal line of a vanity top and are the better choice over a double basin or a wide counter, since one fixture can span the full width without leaving an awkward gap.
Standard LED bathroom mirrors are built for splash exposure around a vanity but are not rated for direct spray inside a shower enclosure. Keep them clear of the shower zone, and confirm the IP rating with our team before installing one anywhere it could get wet beyond ordinary basin splash.
Simple framed or frameless wall mirrors start around KES 4,500. Most LED backlit vanity mirrors fall between KES 9,500 and KES 22,000 depending on size and lighting features. Large-format double-vanity and smart mirrors with anti-fog or Bluetooth speakers run from KES 25,000 upward. All prices include VAT.
